We Stand in Solidarity

Indigo acknowledges that we live, work, and play on land that is the ancestral and unceded territory of the Ohlone-Ramaytush-Yelamu people.

The Ramaytush (pronounced rah-my-toosh) - Yelamu are the only original people of the peninsula named by settlers as San Francisco. Since time immemorial the Ramaytush continue to live and steward this land. We are grateful to organize in solidarity with their struggles against race, class, gender, sexuality, economics, and disability issues that affect our communities. We stand with their struggles for liberation, affirm our responsibility to amplify Indigenous voices, acknowledge the past and the present, and seek that this land return to the Ohlone’s stewardship.
