About the event

A FREE 10-week class on storytelling, character, and writing rooted in decolonization frameworks. Writing stories for screens that develop a new/authentic film grammar based in ancestral mythologies, languages, and understandings of struggles of liberation. We will explore non-linear storytelling, abstract thinking techniques, oral traditions, complex organism development, radical writers, diasporic writers, and still mind practices.

This class will be a non-tradition course. Together we will discover share, and find references to make work rooted in decolonization efforts.
